CNCF-hosted Co-located Events Europe 2024

In our quest to adopt Argo CD and Rollouts, we recognized the need for precise and timely notifications. Argo Notifications, while robust, didn't fully cater to our specific needs. So, we took on the task by creating our own middleware named “Argo Bridge”. We undertook a journey packed with hurdles and discoveries about the complexities of asynchronous notifications. Our developers previously spent considerable time waiting for deployments and CI completions. We aimed to combat this inefficiency by delivering pinpoint notifications when they mattered most. Our goal was to transform these unproductive periods into opportunities for our developers. Having navigated this challenge, we're now contributing these enhancements back to the Argo community. We want to run less custom code and give back. We share how we made those contributions and how you can also contribute back to the Notifications Engine project. We're excited to share these enhancements with everyone in the Argo ecosystem.
